Colombo: The under-19 team took an unbeatable 3-1 lead in their five-match series on Wednesday, winning the fourth game by 42 runs.
The opening batter anchored the innings with a hundred off 104 balls, and the side posted 287 for 6 after being put in to bat.
The hosts were well placed at 190 for 3, but three wickets in two overs from the left-arm spinner turned the game.
The coaching staff said they will give playing time to the reserves in Saturday's final match.
