Metro extends evening hours on two lines for the festive month
The last trains will now leave terminal stations at 11.30 pm, an hour later than the usual timetable.

Pune: The city's metro will run an hour later on its two busiest lines for the next four weeks, with the last trains leaving terminal stations at 11.30 pm.
Trains will run every 10 minutes until 10 pm and every 15 minutes after that. Ticket counters and parking at the eight largest stations will stay open until the last train.
The operator said it will review ridership at the end of the month and decide whether to keep the longer hours permanently.
Commuter groups welcomed the move but asked for better last-mile bus connections at stations on the city's outer edges.
